Leapd

Last Updated: April 1, 2026

Introduction

Welcome to Leapd. Leapd ("Leapd," "we," "us," or "our"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your personal information when you access or use our website at https://www.leapd.ai/, our platform, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use our Services.

For questions or concerns regarding this policy, contact us at hello@leapd.ai.

What You Need to Know - Quick Overview

Before diving into the details, here are the essentials:

What information do we gather? We collect information you provide directly (name, email, password), data from third-party accounts you connect (through secure OAuth authentication - we never see your passwords), content you create through our Services, and technical data collected automatically (IP address, device information, usage patterns).

Do we process sensitive information? No. We do not collect or process sensitive personal information such as financial account details, precise geolocation, health data, or other categories defined as sensitive under privacy laws.

How do we use your information? Your data powers our Services—authenticating your account, connecting with third-party platforms you authorize, enabling you to create and publish content, and improving your experience. We also use it to communicate updates and provide support.

Do we share your data with anyone? We don't sell your information. We share data only with trusted service providers (like AWS for hosting and Stripe for payments), with third-party platforms when you authorize the connection, and when legally required.

Where is your data stored? Our infrastructure is in the United States (Virginia). If you're accessing from elsewhere, your data crosses borders to reach our servers.

What control do you have? You can view, modify, export, or delete your data anytime through your account settings or by contacting hello@leapd.ai. Residents of certain states and countries have additional rights detailed below.

Is your data secure? We employ encryption, access controls, regular audits, and industry-standard security practices. However, no system is completely impenetrable.

5. Third-Party Account Integration

This section covers how we handle connections to third-party services, including social media platforms and professional networking sites.

5.0 Social Logins

Important: We use secure OAuth 2.0 authentication for third-party services. You log in directly on the third-party's website (such as LinkedIn), not ours. We never see, collect, or store your third-party account passwords. The third party provides us only with an access token and the data you authorize us to access.

5.1 Connecting Third-Party Accounts

As part of our Services, you may link your Leapd account with third-party service provider accounts (such as LinkedIn) by granting us access to your third-party account as permitted under the applicable terms and conditions that govern your use of each third-party account.

You represent and warrant that you are entitled to grant us access to your third-party account without breach of any terms and conditions, and without obligating us to pay fees or making us subject to usage limitations imposed by the third-party service provider.

5.2 Data Access and Usage

By granting us access to third-party accounts, you understand that:

  • We may access, make available, and store (if applicable) content that you have provided to and stored in your third-party account ("Third-Party Content") so that it is available on and through the Services
  • We may submit to and receive from your third-party account information to the extent you are notified when you link accounts
  • We use this data to operate the Services, including enabling you to create and publish content through your third-party account when you authorize such actions
  • Information you post to third-party accounts may be available on and through your Leapd account, subject to your privacy settings on those third-party platforms

5.3 Third-Party Service Provider Relationship

YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS IS GOVERNED SOLELY BY YOUR AGREEMENT(S) WITH THOSE PROVIDERS. We make no effort to review Third-Party Content for accuracy, legality, or non-infringement, and we are not responsible for any Third-Party Content.

If a third-party account or service becomes unavailable, or if our access is terminated by the third-party provider, then Third-Party Content may no longer be available through our Services.

5.4 Disconnecting Third-Party Accounts

You can disconnect third-party accounts at any time through:

  • Your Leapd account settings
  • The third-party service provider's permission settings
  • Contacting us at hello@leapd.ai

When you disconnect, we will attempt to delete information obtained through the third-party account from our servers, except for basic profile information (such as username and profile picture) that has become associated with your Leapd account. Deletion occurs within 30 days of disconnection.

5.5 Compliance with Third-Party Policies

We comply with the API Terms of Use, Developer Agreements, and policies of all third-party service providers we integrate with. We use third-party data only for purposes consistent with your authorization and the third party's terms and policies.

6. Data Retention and Deletion
