Free Website Builder for Accountants
Describe who you act for and what you handle. Leapd writes and publishes the site and sets up a business email address. Free.
No coding. No design skills. No credit card.
Describe your accountancy practice — what you do, who for, and where you work.
Up to 4,000 characters. Give Leapd as much context as you have — a short sentence is enough.
What an accountancy website has to answer
People choose an accountant on fit and price, and both are usually invisible on accountancy websites.
Who you actually act for
Sole traders, contractors, limited companies, landlords, a particular sector. "Businesses of all sizes" tells nobody anything; naming your typical client is what makes someone think that is me.
How you charge
Fixed monthly fee or hourly, and roughly what it starts at. Fee opacity is the single most common complaint about accountants, and stating a starting point is a genuine differentiator.
Your qualification and body
ACCA, ACA, AAT, CIMA, or explicitly unqualified-but-experienced. It is the first filter a cautious client applies, and being straightforward about it costs nothing.
Which software you work in
Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, FreeAgent. Businesses already on a platform will not move off it, so this is often a hard yes-or-no in their decision.
What you take off their plate
Year-end, VAT returns, payroll, self assessment, bookkeeping, company secretarial. Listed as tasks, because that is how the client thinks about it, not as service tiers.
Most people are switching accountants, not hiring their first
The typical enquiry comes from someone who already has an accountant and is quietly unhappy — fees crept up, replies got slow, or nobody explained anything. They are not looking to be impressed. They are looking for evidence that you will be clearer and more responsive than the person they have.
That reframes what the site should say. Credentials matter, but so does something most practice websites avoid entirely: an indication of price, an indication of who you are a good fit for, and a sense of how quickly someone hears back from you. Being specific is the whole advantage, because the competition is being vague.
Leapd writes the site from your description, publishes it, and sets up a business email address so client correspondence goes out from the practice rather than a personal account.
How it works
Describe the business
What you do, who for, and where. A couple of sentences is enough; the more specific you are, the more specific the site is.
Pick a name
Choose from names generated around your description, or type the one you already trade under.
Leapd builds and publishes it
The site goes live on your own leapd.app address and your business email address is set up at the same time.
What free covers
The site and the business email address are built for you, and stay up.
A paid plan is for growing from there: expanding the site with more pages and features, pointing a domain you own at it, and putting Leapd to work on bringing people to it — ads, posts in your voice, outreach and AI search visibility. There is no watermark to buy your way out of and no trial clock.
Questions
- Should I really put fees on the site?
- A starting point rather than a full price list is usually enough, and it filters out enquiries you would decline anyway. If you would rather not, describe the shape of your pricing instead — fixed monthly, or quoted after a call.
- I am a bookkeeper, not a chartered accountant. Does this still fit?
- Yes, and describing yourself accurately works in your favour — plenty of small businesses want bookkeeping specifically and find full practices overqualified and overpriced for it.
- Can clients send me documents through the site?
- No. The free build is a public-facing practice site plus a business email address. Client document exchange should stay in whatever secure portal or software you already use.
- Can I use my own domain?
- The site is live on a leapd.app address straight away. Connecting a domain you own, and moving your practice email onto it, is available on a paid plan.
